I have purchased 160pcs
of A123 20Ah cells from VICTPOWER.
They said 2 weeks but It
took 6 weeks for delivery.
I paid for 160 cells, I got only 151 cells, they blame FedEx?!
I found one cell
leaking, that one was recycled at once!
40 cells were without
vacuum, or useless!
They have sent me following
pictures for acknowledgment:
Cells on picture are so flat, no damage or bubbles… or am I blind?
My cells are different story:
My cells are different story:
What they did is weld steel plate to aluminum
and copper contact-leftover,
Then they paint it with something…
It produces chemical reaction that looks
greenish and nasty…
Last Friday I decided to go ballistic on
my “new” cells and to test what they stand for:
4 cells were taken…
I closed my eyes and picked 4…
I made 4S battery pack…
I use my reliable equipment to balance cells
as always before start pushing them…
During the lunch break I had connected
pack to my trusty, energy thirsty machine…
It took 25 minutes of 1C-5C
discharge/charge before the pack went 0V…
Thanks VICTPOWER!!!

Update July 30th 2013:
After 3 months since I published my
experiences with VictPower a kind of revolution started…
There are so many people contacting me and
sharing their experiences with VictPower. I can say that this company is not
going to survive long… they had cheated and made business in very
disrespectable manor. You can do it once or twice but then you are a history…
Regarding what happened with batteries
after 3 months, we used to say one picture is like 1000 words:
Thanks again Victpower!
